Alec MacDonald with back to back starts for the Moncton Wildcats this weekend. The Truro NS native & Newbridge Academy student was called up from Pictou County Weeks in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League and played well in both his starts, a 5-4 loss in Cape Breton and a 3-0 loss in Halifax. MacDonald is to be returned to Weeks but can expect to receive more call ups this season. Coach Darren Rumble says next season MacDonald will have the opportunity to become the goaltender Moncton fans will love in the future.
