Alex LaFreniere is having an outstanding rookie season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The 16 year old forward and 1st overall pick of the 2017 midget draft is among the league scoring leaders and heads into the final month of the regular season. The Oceanic have a rich history of producing great players such as Sidney Crosby, Vincent Lecavalier and Brad Richards. There will be comparisons made with the “big 3” and LaFreniere’s personality is very different tha the 3 other greats.
