Last summer 14 year old Nicholas Reeves was pronounced “cancer free” after a long fight with the deadly disease. The Summerside minor hockey player credited the game with helping him overcome the rare form of blood cancer. He is now a key member of the Prince County Warriors of the Prince Edward Island Major Bantam hockey league.
