Brandon Benedict has wrapped up his 11 year professional hockey career for an opportunity to work for Newbridge Academy in Dartmouth NS. The 35 year old Windsor NS native was a member of the Belfast Giants in the 2017/18 season and now returns to his home province to become the head coach of the school’s U15 major bantam team. Benedict is the all time Halifax Mooseheads scoring leaders, most points, most goals and most games played. John Moore caught up with the Acadia Axeman alum days after he arrvied on the Newbridge campus.
