Carolina Hurricanes goaltending prospect Anthony Peters spent most of his summer in Halifax NS training with an group of NHL elite players including Sidney Crosby, Brad Marchand and Nathan MacKinnon. The 25 year old St Marys Huskies alum faced some of the best in the world and was grateful for the opportunity as he prepares to try and clinch a spot with the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers. John Moore caught up with Peters, who was the starter for the Florida Everblades in the East Coast Hockey League last season and found out what it was like to face the elite.
