Cape Breton West Islanders will represent Atlantic Canada at the 2017 Telus Cup in Prince George, British Columbia. The Islanders captured the Atlantic title by defeating the Moncton Flyers and have had 2 weeks off to prepare for the national major midget hockey championships. The team arrives at Halifax’s Robert Stanfield Airport Saturday (April 22) and checks in for the long ride out to the west coast which includes a charter flight from Vancouver to Prince George.
