Chris Lanouette ejected for hit on Ben Higgins Sunday afternoon in QMJHL action at Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre. The Victoriaville Tigres defenceman took a run at the Halifax Mooseheads undersized forward as we was racing up the boards in the defensive zone. Higgins saw the hit coming at the last moment and avoided what could have been a serious injury. Higgins lost his helmet in the collision and was shaky leaving the ice. He went directly to the room for an examination and returned to play later in the period.
