Colten Ellis of the Cape Breton West Islanders made his debut in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and it could not have gone better.  He made 23 stops on 25 shots and was named 2nd star in a Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 5-2 win over the Moncton Wildcats at Centre 200 on Wednesday, Oct 26.  Ellis did not play on the weekend but accompanied was backup for Kyle Jessiman in both games against the Halifax Mooseheads.  Kevin Mandolese is away at the World Under 17’s in Sault Ste Marie, ONtario and upon his return Ellis will return to the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey league.  John Moore caught up with 16 year old and coach Marc Andre Dumont prior to the 2nd game of the home and home weekend in Halifax.
