Grant Sanford is proving his doubters wrong. The Middle Sackville goalie has been told for the past number of years he wasn’t quite good enough to play at the highest level in the province. He was cut from Major Bantam and Major Midget teams before eventually earing a spot with the Valley Wildcats this season. He has been outstnading for the Cats and was named a 1st team All Star at the 2019 East Coasat IceJam. He now has his sights set on Major Junior hockey. John Moore caught up with the 6 foot 2 186 pound goalie prior to a recent game at the Civic Arena in Halifax.
