Benoit-Olivier Groulx was the first star as the Halifax Mooseheads defeated Saint John 4-3 in the team’s QMJHL home opener. The 1st overall pick of the 2016 Q draft scored 2 goals and added an assist in his first game at Scotiabank Centre. The 16 year old from Gatineau scored to tie the game late in 1st period and then again in the 3rd breaking a 2-2 tie.
