Halifax Accel Hawks defeated Dartmouth 4-0 in their opening game of the 2015 Esso Cup at the Halifax Forum & Civic Arena. Arlo Merritt, Andrew Drysdale, Ethan Phillips and Aiden Sampson scored for the Hawks. Liam Oxner earned the shutout and Mitchell Comeau was Hawks player of the game.
