HNS will form a league for high school players sidelined due to the Nova Scotia teachers work-to-rule currently in affect in the province. More than a thousand players across Nova Scotia have been knocked out of the game and if the work-to-rule remains in affect then a league will begin in the New Year. Players and groups will registered with the local minor hockey association and Hockey NS executive director Darren Cossar says teams will be formed, a 12 game schedule and playoffs to determine a provincial champion. John Moore caught up with Cossar outside Hockey Nova Scotia offices in Burnside Park located in Dartmouth NS.
