Joe Veleno was the first overalll pick of the 2015 QMJHL draft. The Saint John Sea Dogs selected the “exceptional player” and he called the port city home for 2 1/2 seasons before being dealt to Drummondville. He returned to Harbour Station Friday as part of a 3 game maritime road swing and he was named the Detroit Red Wings prospect was named QMJHL player of the week.
