Jordan Spence was selected in the 2nd round (20th overall) by the Moncton Wildcats at the 2018 QMJHL draft in Shawinigan, Quebec. The Cornwall PEI defenceman was the Maritime Hockey League (Junior A) rookie of the year with the Summerside Capitals. He was undrafted as a 15 year old but was snapped up early in the 2nd round despite the possibility he might pursue his hockey career stateside. Spence was attending the Maloney Thompson Sports Management camp last weekend and John Moore caught up with Spence, Player Development Director Darrell Young and Wildcats scout Andre Lefebvre.
