Brandon Boutilier is a late bloomer by hockey standards. The Cape Breton native never played organized hockey til he was 10 years old but is now a valuable member of the Cape Breton Tradesmen of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League. Boutilier will enter his 2nd season with the Tradesmen and is more confident as he has become bigger and stronger in the off season. Coach Ken Tracey expects he will be an asisstant captain this season. John Moore caught up with the Tradesmen at the league’s annual Early Bird tournament at Cole Harbour Place.
