15 year old Matt Stienburg is fighting thru some adversity as he tries to make the next step in his young hockey career. The Halifax native required shoulder surgery twice on the same shoulder as he was disagnosed with osteomyelitis. The surgery has delayed his start to playing with the Halifax Macs of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League. He has resumed skating but will have to wait before returning to contact and eventualy playing his first game.
