Halifax’s Michael O’Leary is projected as a 1st round draft pick for the 2014 QMJHL draft this June. The 15 year old forward is attending a US Prep School (Salisbury) in Conn. for the 2013/14 season and hasn’t decided whether he will pursue a career in the Q or go the NCAA route. He was one of 4 Nova Scotians invited to the All State All Canadians mentorship camp in Toronto in August.
