Mitchell Wagner of the TriCom Thunder is the top first year player at the 2019 East Coast IceJam. The 13 year old forward was selected by scouts attending the 50 team tournament which included major bantam and midget teams from across Atlantic Canada. Wagner is a rookie with the major bantam Thunder out of Newfoundland and won the province’s Pee Wee AAA scoring title last season averaging close to 3 points a game.
