Mooseheads acquire 19 year old Blade Mann-Dixon from the Charlottetown Islanders just prior to Christmas during the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League trade period. The Mooseheads gave up a 2017 7th round pick in the trade with the Islanders who earlier acquired Mark Grametbaurer. Mann-Dixon will start for the Mooseehads against his old team Wednesday at the Eastlink Centre and his backup will be 16 year old Alex Gravel. Its the 5 foot 7 150 pound Mann-Dixon’s 4th team in the QMJHL, previously playing with Saint John and Moncton as well as Charlottetown.
