Nova Scotia’s Canada Games boys basketball team comes to the Winnipeg multi sport competition with high expectations. Nova Scotia is the top ranked team due to its recent success at the national club level and many of the players know what it takes to win a gold medal. Shawn Mantley and Thane Smith are coaches and have an impressive lineup which includes, Demeric Mercer, Ryan Munroe, Caleb Johnson, Jaxon Smith, Jasin States, Jasha’juan Downey, Jaren Johnson, Mahamed Abukar, Sam Wade, Joe Frenette, Ethan Spurling and Jack Pittman.
