Raphael Lavoie scores his first QMJHL goal for the Halifax Mooseheads on New Year’s Eve day in a 5-2 loss to Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at Scotiabank Centre. The Mooseheads 2016 2nd round pick made the team but then returned to play in the Quebec AAA Midget League for first half of season. The rangy Antoine-Girouard forward was averaging a point a game in his 2nd Midget season but is getting more and more comfortable with every game in the QMJHL.
