Ryan Francis is a 15 year old rookie with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. The Beaverbank, Nova Scotia native is a 2017 2nd round draft pick and with a late birthday, December 2, the 15 year old is one of the youngest, if not the youngest in the entire Canadian Hockey League. Francis is off to a good start with 2 goals in 8 games and Cape Breton coach and GM Marc-Andre Dumont is pleased with his early season progress. John Moore spoke with the former Cole Harbour Wolfpack forward and Dumont prior to Saturdays (October 14th) game in Halifax against the Mooseheads.
