Sonny Kabatay is a 16 year old centre attending his first QMJHL training camp. The Halifax Mooseheads selected the Sydney NS native in the 4th round of the 2018 QMJHL draft and he is trying to crack the roster after 1 season in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League with Cape Breton Tradesmen.. Kabatay has played in all 4 intrasquad games after 2 days at training camp and is hoping to be in the lineup for the team’s first exhibtion game in Cape Breton Sunday afternoon.
