How to stop Swiss sensation Nico Hischier is a compilation of answers from Quebec Major Junior Hockey League players, coaches and NHL scouts on how to handle the Halifax Mooseheads rookie. The Naters Switzerland native is one of the top prospects for the 2017 NHL draft in Chicago, Illinois this summer. He spent most of last season with Bern SC in the Swiss B League and was drafted 6th overall by the QMJHL team in the 2016 CHL Import draft. Hischier has shown a steady climb in the rankings from the start of the season and has provided the young Mooseheads with plenty of offence despite scouts raving about his defensive play. In 46 games, Hischier has 37 goals, 77 points and is running away with the rookie scoring race and one of the top scorers in the league scoring race. Watch this video as coaches Mario Pouliot, Danny Flynn, Darren Rumble and Jim Hulton weigh in.   Opposing players Matthew Highmore/ Saint John, Duncan MacIntyre/ Moncton Wildcats, PO Joseph/ Islanders, Adam Holwell/ Titan and NHL scouts Pierre Mondou and Denis Fugere all have suggestions.   Even Hischier offers a way to stop the top NHL prospect.
