Russian born Evgeny Svetchnikov made quite a slash in his QMJHL debut. The 17 yr old 2015 NHL draft eligible forward was the 1st Star (1G 2A) helping the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles to a 6-3 win in Moncton. John Moore caught up Svetchnikov and his linemate Maxim Lazarev the following morning in Bathurst NB. Lazarev translated during the interview for his fellow countryman and good friend.
