Thousands of members of the black, basketball and education community turned out to pay last respects to the highly respected and much admired Citadel High principal Wade Smith, who lost his battle with stomach cancer last Friday. JA Snow Funeral Home was filled with former teammates, teachers, students, coaches and members of the sports community. John Moore spoke to some after they visited with the Smith family. The funeral is Thursday, 1 pm at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hammonds Plains.
