Tyler Cross is a 15 year old defenceman with the Nova Scotia Admirals of the Nova Scotia Minor Midget AAA Hockey League. Cross broke his ankle at the first of last season and it hindered his development as a rookie in the league but he is a completly different defender this season according to head coach Tony McCarthy. Cross is averaging a point a game and leads the league in Dman scoring and leads his team in scoring. He was a late cut from the South Shore Mustangs of the NSMMHL. John Moore caught up with Cross and his coach prior to a game in Bedford this weekend.
